About Mindfulness


Mindfulness is the practice of getting in touch with the present moment and learning how to be aware of your inner experiences without judging or evaluating them.

Mindfulness has roots in Eastern spiritual traditions such as Zen Buddhism. When practicing mindfulness the goal is to see your thoughts from an outside point of view. To observe and notice them but not allow them to influence you in a positive or negative way.
